The Becker Is Back! Ethan Becker of Becker Knife & Tool has teamed up with KA-BAR Knives and the Becker line of knives are back in production.
Now manufactured by Ka-Bar in the USA, the BK-11 Becker Necker is back. Designed as a neck knife for survival, it will answer your needs for most field craft chores. With a flat ground, drop point blade made from 1095 Cro-Van high carbon steel, it is epoxy coated to reduce reflections and resist corrosion. The handle is skeletal for light weight and contoured to fit your hand. A notch is provide at the rear for opening bottles and as a wire breaker. The blade measures 3.25" long, with an overall knife length of 6.75". The sheath has been re-designed from the original and is black plastic injection molded glass-filled nylon and comes with 550 parachute cord for wrapping the handle or for use as a lanyard, and is MOLLE compatible. The contoured handle scales feel great in the hand and are made from Grivory composite material. Included with each BK-7 is a BK-13 small utility knife made with 3CR13 Stainless Steel for use as a back-up and lighter tasks.
