DUAL FIRESTARTER KIT™

The Corona Sharpening Tool

If you want to get maximum sparks from your Firesteel, try this little tool.  It has a carbide tip and will amaze you with the amount of sparks you will cause when you scrape the edge along your Firesteel.  It was designed as a sharpening tool for Corona Pruners, and we happened to pick one up

when we purchased a folding Pruner for cutting kindling.  Having a carbide tip, we wondered how it would work as a striker for our Firesteels, and we were impressed.  We now use them all the time and our students love them.  So we thought we would offer them on our site. 

We have been known to modify their appearance, and even shorten them to carry on our key ring (NO, we DO NOT sell them modified.  You will have to be creative yourself, or just use them "as is").  By the way, you can even use them to sharpen with!

Self-Sticking Match Striker Material

Many times it would be nice to have match striker material to attach to places you want it!  This might include match cases, inside survival kits (such as the lid of a tin), etc.  It’s always nice to have a spare piece of striker material around. Well, we have finally come up with a solution that fits those requirements.  We call it Stick-N-Strike™ and it is a self-sticking match striker material (so you don’t have to glue it to the item you want it attached).  Simply cut it into strips, circles, or any configuration you need.  Peel off the backing and stick it to your item.  It’s that simple.  It works with all matches, including both our Wind/Waterproof Survival Matches and Storm Matches.  You get 2 sheets of material, each measuring 2.75” wide x 4.25” long, enough for various kits and applications.
