The following First Aid Kits are made by Adventure Medical Kits (AMK), and in our opinion, are some of the best kits available for survival and outdoor activities. This section is followed by some additional First Aid Items which can be used to supplement or be added to an available kit.

3 SHORT WATERPROOF PLASTIC SCREW TOP VIALS

These Short Waterproof Screw Top Vials are great for all those needs when packaging a first aid kit. They can used to carry medications in a first aid kit or be utilized for anything in a survival kit like a small fishing tackle kit . Being food grade, they can also be used to carry salt, pepper, spices, etc. in your cook kit! You can buy each size individually as a three pack or a three pack with one of each size! All three vials are 2-3/16" long, with an inside length of 2-1/8". The small vial measures 11/16 diameter (inside) and 7/8" diameter (outside cap). The medium vial measures 13/16" diameter (inside) and 1" diameter (outside cap). The large vial measures 7/8" diameter (inside) and 1-1/8" diameter (outside cap). There are so many uses for these vials that you will be surprised you went without them.

EXTREME LENGTH BANDAGES

They Are Back! We used to sell tons of these and they suddenly were discontinued by Curad. Well, after complaining, begging, etc., Curad is making them for us again. These are the best bandages I have ever found for those people who spend a lot of time outdoors in the dirt. These bandages are extra long, so they wrap around your finger twice and stay put. I have worn these for days in the field, in the rain, etc, and have never had one fall off. They come in a box of twenty and you can put them in all your first aid kits, as well as carry a few in your wallet like I do.

Uncle Bill's Sliver Gripper are excellent tweezers made from high quality stainless steel. SAM® SPLINT

The SAM® Splint is a flexible 4.25" x 36" sandwich of soft aluminum and closed cell polyethylene foam that, when folded in specific ways, creates a rigid yet comfortable splint used to support and immobilize injuries and fractures of the extremities and neck. The SAM® Splint can be folded for storage, or rolled up easily to the size of an "ACE" wrap, and with proper care and cleaning, can be used over and over again. The possibility of sprains, dislocations and broken bones is too great to ignore. The immediate immobilization of the injured area not only reduces pain but can frequently lessen the secondary damage suffered while waiting for and during transit to a medical facility.
