THE AQUA POUCH™ PLUS - WATER PURIFICATION KIT

WATER PURIFICATION TABLETS

These emergency water germicidal tablets are intended for emergency disinfection of drinking water.  When used as directed, they make most drinking water bacteriologically suitable for drinking.  Used worldwide by campers, hikers, militaries, and anyone needing to drink water of questionable bacteriological quality.  Proven effective against Giardia Lamblia. For short term emergency use only.  Not for continuous use.  Use 1-2 tablets per liter of water.  50 tablets per bottle.

POTABLE AQUA WITH P.A. PLUS

Potable Aqua with P.A. Plus makes drinking water safe with a two step process.  In step one, Potable Aqua (see description under 17020 above) is used to disinfect the questionable water and make it bacteriologically suitable to drink.  In part 2, after using the Potable Aqua, use the P.A. Plus neutralizing tablets to remove the iodine taste and color.  Each bottle contains 50 tablets.

Re-Packaging Amber Glass Vials

These Amber Glass Vials are ideal for re-packaging Potable Aqua iodine tablets so they will fit in mini survival kits.  Although the manufacturer of Potable Aqua does not recommend re-packaging the tablets because it degrades the shelf life from 4 years to one year, many people building survival kits have been doing it for years.  You just have to remember to restock your bottles once a year.  These bottles are Amber, like the bottle used by the factory, and have special Teflon caps which are required for packaging iodine (Note: the caps may be black, blue, or white - no choice).  The bottles are shown above in comparison to the original Potable Aqua bottle.  The smallest, to the right, is a 5/8 Dram bottle and will hold 20 tablets with room for cotton in the top.  The center bottle, a 1 Dram, will hold 40 tablets with room for cotton in the top. Both bottles fit easily in an "Altoids" tin type survival kit.

KATADYN VARIO MICROFILTER

KATADYN POCKET MICROFILTER
